Our client has a job vacancy for a Recovery Support Worker to work within a Prison (HMP) based in South Dorset. This is a full time position with an initial 2-3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is £15-19 per hour (limited company worker).

- Contributing to planned care that takes account of service users' presenting needs, race (including nationality, cultural or ethnic background), religion or belief, gender and sexuality and any disability.
- Promoting and maintaining effective communication with others in order to build and sustain positive working relationships with service users, colleagues, treatment service providers, statutory agencies and other agencies. This may include accessing translation and interpreting services.
- Having allocated responsibility for specific aspects of assessment and risk screening, and the planning, implementation and review of care packages, including implementing specific parts of an individual's care plan on behalf of different care professionals.

All applicants must have at least 2 years recent experience of working within a Substance Misuse setting with Offenders or Prison setting.
