A great project role for a business-orientated Accountant with Arqiva, global leader in communications infrastructure. As Finance Business Partner Analyst, reporting to our Head of Finance for M2M on this 12-month fixed term contract, you’ll be working to identify, design and implement improvements to the reporting and forecasting of all finance activities for our M2M business and commercial Telecoms contracts. This will involve working closely with the business to understand their priorities and challenges and creating and documenting process to deliver to their requirements and add value. Reporting requirements can be complex in nature and involve pulling data from a variety of different sources. Preparing budgets, forecasts and Long Term Plans for submission to our M2M Director and Financial Controller; and ultimately the CEO / CFO, you’ll analyse and interpret performance for trends and variations and translate into executive-level briefings that articulate issues and drive actionable responses. You’ll also complete month end processing, reconciliations and reporting requirements, in addition to: • Quarterly accounting and approval administration of sales commissions • Produce reporting to assist the business to understand and monitor costs and revenues for Major projects and products, and to monitor against budgets and forecast projections A finance graduate with commercial experience you’ll have the confidence and experience in a complex matrix environment improving and driving process whilst understanding what is beneficial to the business. With excellent financial modelling skills gained in a commercial environment you’ll have well developed critical thinking and problem solving ability. Able to interpret financial results and provide management reports on financial performance you’ll also have strong communication skills and can clearly present outcomes to stakeholders.
