Details The role of the Human Resources Apprentice is to ultimately gain a solid knowledge of what HR does, why it is important and how it adds value to the business. As part of the apprenticeship you will work as part of a team within the HR Services. This will include working as an administrator within HR ,shared service centre , onboarding, employee relations and resourcing. The following tasks are characteristic of the role: • Input and manage data in line with GDPR. • HR analytics – analysing and correlating HR data to identify trends. • Resolve queries and requests for information from managers and employees, whether received electronically or over the telephone, ensuring that relevant data protection checks are carried out. • To give advice and guidance on Human Resource policies and procedures • Process change notifications and produce accurate documents through the system, ensuring that electronic files are maintained at all times • Provide administrative support to the recruitment process, ensuring that candidates and managers are fully informed at all stages and legal requirements are met • Co-ordinate the booking and attendance of candidates on training events, ensuring that delegates are fully informed and arrangements run smoothly • Support the delivery of the HR calendar of events e.g. annual salary review letters, ensuring that managers and employees receive the necessary communications and instructions • Provide administrative support for ad-hoc projects (e.g. reorganisations and restructures), ensuring that accurate documentation is produced on accurately and on time, and that a full audit trail is maintained • Managing and prioritising own workload using the case management tool Essential criteria Qualifications: The successful candidate will complete an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business and Administration, before progressing to the Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration (subject to satisfactory performance). As part of the Advanced Apprenticeship, the candidate will also complete the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in HR Practice.
