What is the purpose of this role? To provide professional and efficient supervision of a small team of reprographic staff encompassing a design capability and text preparation service to all users of The MoD Whitehall Buildings. The role will have accountability for the team(s) to ensure all work is completed to the satisfaction of the customer within the constraints of the contract in a timely and efficient manner and report directly to Amey's Reprographic Services Manager. What will this role involve? Supervision of the team alongside day to day liaison with the Workflow Team Leader and Reprographic Services Supervisor Compiling monthly statistics, ensuring the accurate maintaining of stock levels, order/delivery records, log books, maintenance records and ownership of local processes Responsible for chargeable work administration and ensuring that customers receive a first-class service from initial enquiry to product delivery Advising customers of all services available What are we looking for? Print qualifications: e.g. NVQ in reprographics and or print production or certified experience. Staff Management training and/or Print Management an advantage Able to work under own initiative and drive performance through a systematic approach Excellent Relationship Management Demonstrates ability to implement and meet targets. Supports and contributes to continuous improvement. Able to implement and support a customer-centric approach. Demonstrates well-developed relationship management and influencing skills Problem solving and analytical skills Responding positively to change Willingness and ability to learn and develop Ability to lead a small team Ability to learn and use proprietary software Previous experience of Civil Service or armed forces environment would be desirable Previous experience of working with secure documents Previous staff management experience What makes this role unique?
