Our Requirements Working as part of the finance team your role as Planning and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of management information and analysis, assisting with specification and design and seeking to improve and standardise current processes wherever possible. As a Planning and Reporting Analyst you will: Produce timely and accurate routine weekly and monthly reporting for the divisions. Assist in specifying solutions to management information requirements from the divisional finance managers. Assist with the analysis of data identifying trends and areas of improvement in order to contribute to the decision making process. Assist with the year-end process where required. Identify gaps in management information that will contribute to the understanding of the performance of the business. Specify and produce regular/ ad-hoc reports to provide detailed analysis regarding business performance. Perform client reporting for key clients of the firm. Deputise for other team members as and when required. Knowledge, skills and experience required You will have: Experience in reporting and data analysis having a proven track record in this area. Have worked in a finance or management information function previously. Will not necessarily need to have or be studying for a finance qualification, experience and aptitude will be more important. Able to work as part of a team and be able to thrive in a supportive and collegiate environment. Must be able to demonstrate a propensity to understand the business model and dynamics of a law firm. Good communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the business. Strong attention to and desire to operate at a high level of detail. Good knowledge of excel and a high level of IT literacy. Ability to multi-task and not be afraid to 'get stuck in'. Good team player as well as capable of working using own initiative. Excellent analytical skills. Able to present data in formats relevant to the audience. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Planning & Reporting Team Leader / Accountant Level of role AG Level 3 Department Finance Reporting Line Divisional Finance Manager - Planning & Reporting Purpose of the Role Management of all aspects of reporting to finance teams and the wider business. Supporting the Planning & Reporting Manager with the coordination, production and reporting of the firm's monthly management accounts. Contributing to Exec / Board level financial reporting (including written board reporting) and the coordination of the firm's budgeting and financial planning processes. Duties Reporting and Decision Support Completing analytical reviews of the Divisional and Directorate monthly financial performance (income and cost drivers), providing insight to the DFMs, Directorate Finance team and wider business. Work in conjunction with DFMs/Systems Accountant/MI Analyst team to establish best practice and standardised reporting across all UK Divisions and International offices. Assisting with the preparation of weekly operational reports to the Partnership, and monthly Board and Exec reporting including contributing to the 'Finance Board Report'. Provide insightful reporting and analysis to enhance decision making at Board and Executive level. Line Management of the MI team (team of three) and ownership of the provision of ad-hoc and structured analyst level reporting in order to support, the Divisions, Directorates, and wider finance team. Covering ad-hoc to more structure daily/weekly/monthly (internal and external) reporting. Proactively inform the continuous development of reporting and planning via AG in-form, working alongside the Systems development team and other stakeholders. Ownership of the delivery of all external surveys and bench-marking analysis including the collation and outputs. Management Accounting Preparation of firm-wide management accounting adjustments, for example but not limited to the valuation of WIP and bad debt provisioning. Review of the consolidated management accounts and prepare commentary to support the key variances to plan. Support AGID Divisional Finance Accountant with management of AG Integrate, including calculating accruals, creating P&Ls and maintaining timesheet tracker. Business Planning Support the Planning & Reporting Manager with the coordination of the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. Support the DFMs/Directorates and other stakeholders with the business planning processes (budget/forecast/3YP)) including financial modelling, analysis and commentary. Other Supporting/leading with ad hoc projects, including (but not limited to) systems implementation and testing, Finance training, Board reporting and standardisation of all finance reporting. The duties of the role will not be limited to the above and other duties will be required in the ordinary course of business. Knowledge, skills and experience required FP&A / MI experience with a general interest and aptitude for using financial reporting systems. You will be required to understand and produce detailed MI reporting. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with an ability to write insightful financial and commercial commentaries based upon sound financial analysis. Be at ease working with and challenging senior management in identifying and driving actions as well as analysing and presenting information, managing business change, and thinking strategically. Must be able to work effectively, build strong relationships and be able to influence within a complex and dynamic matrix organisation structure. Service oriented with experience of stakeholder management and the potential to establish a polished reputation in the business quickly. Proven commercial expertise, personal gravitas and strong influencing skills. Experience of managing and coaching a team. Part qualified or newly qualified in a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent).

The Role The principal responsibility is to support the delivery of a generalist HR administration services to the Firm adhering to standard processes, ensuring the service is provided in an efficient and effective manner, and in line with service level agreements. The role is a fantastic opportunity for an entry level HR Assistant to join the HR Shared Services function. Duties The following list of duties is not exhaustive but gives an indication of the duties the HR Administration Assistant undertakes: · Process responsibility Supports the delivery of a diverse HR administration service. Responds to telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely fashion, escalating matters where required. Core HR administration Administers HR-related documentation such as reference response and probation letters, and tracks the return of employee changes documentation, eg contractual variation and leaver letters. Scans and uploads documentation to employee's Simply AG (Oracle HR system) records, ensuring records are kept up to date at all times. Prepares, checks and issues all necessary documentation (hard copy and email) in an accurate and timely manner. Updates employee records on the HR system as required, ensuring accurate data entry at all times. · Team Responsibility Supports the HR team as required eg during the annual performance review and salary review activities, assisting in the preparation of mail merge letters. Provides feedback to the HR Shared Services Team Leader and identifies opportunities for improvements in processes. Takes responsibility for completing own performance reviews in line with defined timescales, and provides upward feedback. Knowledge, skills and experience required HR administration experience within a professional services firm or shared services environment advantageous. Experience of using HR or other complex systems for data entry or reviewing records desirable. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisation skills with the ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks. Experience of working to tight deadlines. Proven experience in using Microsoft Office packages eg Outlook, Word and Excel. An enthusiastic team player who actively contributes in a flexible and adaptable manner.
