This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and well established team and play a pivotal role in providing a first class service As the Business Development Manager you will drive the launch campaign of new stores, and implementing store tactical activity standards which maximize the impact of the monthly offers. Taking ownership over the tactical activity around the launch of new stores, driving footfall and sales, and building a portfolio cash and credit customers Experience required : Key Results Areas Customers Identifying and creating a prospect database in advance of the store launch Coaching the store team to embed proactive customer activity inside the store: store standards of welcoming and serving customers; and structured customer activity outside: breakfast morning organisation, leafleting activity, skip chase, trade week, competitor attacks and collection of prospects. Putting in place a weekly activity plan and customer calling routine, by coaching and influencing the store team Sales Proactively drive sales activity to help the store hit budgeted sales for the launch period Implement the quote follow-up system in store and train all colleagues, to ensure this process is a core part of the daily routine Driving the store launch activity to build a solid cash and credit customer base trading in store Controls Full compliance with H&S and HR Company Policies Maintain clean and safe working environment Detail Prospects database in excess of 300 customers, split by trade In excess of 10 quality credit account customers signed up and trading in the first 12 weeks Over 200 cash account customers signed up and trading in the first 12 weeks Store achieving sales budget during the launch period Benefits A great open working environment.
