We are currently recruiting an Innovation Programme Manager to join our Global Service & Delivery Team. The Innovation Programme Manager will be responsible for the construction, management and leadership of complex & innovative improvement projects, intent on delivering breakthrough change across the Global & Regional DA Delivery Organisations. This role is critical to the success of the function's ability to enable significant growth & productivity improvements, working across multi-disciplinary & multi-geographic elements. Operational/execution knowledge & experience within B2B software & analytics organisations would be highly advantageous. In addition to a foundational strength and experience project & programme management, this role must liaise and influence across the matrix organisation to embed sustainable change and therefore requires exceptional communication & stakeholder management capability. Desirable Education & Professional Qualifications: - Degree Level or relevant experience and a proven track record in project & programme management. - Project/Programme Management professional accreditation - Solid understanding of Operational/Delivery organisations & associated processes within the software/analytics sector. - Solid understanding of Agile & Lean Six Sigma techniques - Should be fluent in written and spoken English. Specialist skills needed: What special skills/training is needed to perform job or operate equipment competently? - Proven ability defining and executing on the Programme's purpose and direction in terms of vision, mission, values and objectives - Proven track record of development of business cases & subsequent delivery to commitments - Ability to encourage innovation & deliver/fail fast in a proof-of-concept driven environment - Ability to work with cross-functional teams to scope & design effective projects - focused on rapid/iterative delivery of business benefits and outcomes - Strong understanding and application of Project Management competencies including stakeholder management, contractuals, scope, schedule, costs, quality, communications, risk, procurement, and integration - Strong understanding and application of change management competencies - Strong ability to manage relationships whilst maintaining trusted relationship with team and peers Effective leadership, coordination, motivation, negotiation and dispute resolution skills - Ability to influence and build productive relationships with key programme stakeholders (both internal and external) - Financial literacy to forecast and manage programme & project budgets - Experience of project governance against improved project delivery lifecycle processes and escalated risk mitigation and issue resolution - Ability to identify and manage project resource requirements - Advanced oral and written communication skills - Superb problem solving and analytical skills - Proven experience of working in a global and matrixed environment. - Previous experience in the banking / credit sector would be an advantage. - Ability to motivate and engage a global team, whilst sensitive to cultural differences and customs. Key Result Areas: Global DA Delivery & Service to date has invested significant effort in driving improvements across the organisation - this role now needs to focus on embedding these already developed changes, alongside a reinvigorated portfolio of breakthrough change activities. The Innovation Programme Manager will have the following key result areas: Innovation; - Manage a programme of activity, with iterative (pilot, prove, fail, improve cycles) development & deployment of game-changing capabilities across the Delivery organisation - Develop associated business cases where investment needed and manage these through approval & execution to demonstrable value - Work with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to identify innovative technology application that significantly improves our operational effectiveness and time to value/revenue - Oversee a programme of internal continuous improvement initiatives that reduce our effort and time to deliver - Work across Global & Regional Delivery teams to pilot, launch and embed new capabilities on a rolling cycle - Track, monitor and prove value, reported at the Productivity Steering Committee level to demonstrate sustainable change Testing; - Working across our Global & Regional teams, establish an agreed programme of work (based on independently assessed and recommended improvement areas) that drives a step-change improvement in DA Delivery Testing methodologies, people, process & systems - Apply effective change management techniques and approaches to embedding these changes across the function - Track and monitor changes, reported at Productivity Steering Committee level to demonstrate sustainable change Change Management - Oversee a programme of change activities, focussed on behavioural change in our core consultant population - Ensure there is a complimentary cycle of engaging and effective communications to support the programme of work. These activities should be underpinned with project/programme management fundamentals including: - Delivery of projects per agreed time / budget / scope / quality / change control criteria. - Defining, sourcing and managing the necessary resources to complete these projects, making timely changes where necessary to achieve project objectives. - Ensuring the development of accurate project plans and budgets - Effectively controlling the issues, risk, dependencies and changes in scope ensuring timely intervention and communication to stakeholders. - Conducting regular reviews of project outcomes - Providing input into decision-making at senior level - Ensuring stakeholders are provided with appropriate timely advice during and after project delivery. - Effectively and accurately escalating and communicating risks and issues as appropriate. People Management: - Manage virtual project teams including functional specialists both from within Experian and from external consultants (as applicable). - Directly lead and influence a much wider group of senior stakeholders across Global DA and regional teams.
