Engineering and Maintenance Manager Whitehaven, Cumbria Competitive Salary (plus excellent benefits) The Opportunity: We are working with an established client who are continually expanding, providing operations, maintenance and management services and solutions throughout the UK and services to other global businesses and has experience in areas such as the Middle East, Europe and South America. They require an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to ensure the site operates safely, complying with the O&M standards and legislation via best practice, commercial engineering and maintenance actions. Skills and Experience: Working to COMAH regulations, with a NEBOSH General Certificate Degree qualified (ideally in an Engineering related discipline) or a Professional accreditation - chartered/incorporated Successful 1st line management experience for a site E&M team operating at a senior level, including department technical & personnel development & change management Previous completion of inspections and contributions to interventions and reporting, managing recovery from significant plant failures Previous experience of contract and contractor management, developing and implementing strategies, projects and initiatives across technical, commercial and other areas, ensuring compliance with company and legislative requirements Role and Responsibilities: As the site Accountable E&M person, working in line with business, client and legislative requirements, you will be providing the leadership and management of their E&M philosophy, strategy, actions, results and compliance during all phases of production. You will be taking the responsibility for the installation of new plants and changes to existing plant and equipment, to appropriate standards within the Management of Change system, providing support and advice to the Site Leadership Team on engineering matters at all stages of the Company's operations. EC&I Consultant (Electrical, Control and Instrumentation) Stockton-on-Tees, Durham The Opportunity: I am currently on the lookout for an experienced EC&I Engineer to join my client's team based in Stockton-on-Tees. They are looking for someone with a proven background of working in a high hazard industry, such as the Power generation, oil and gas operation or process industry, who will give support to the site and ensure the safety and availability of all EC&I equipment.
