We are looking for a dynamic commercial property lawyer to deal with an exciting and varied range of local authority work. The Property Team provides advice to the County Council, District Councils and to other external public bodies who engage our services. Our work includes complex property work including property development work and project working, sales, acquisitions, deeds of grant, landlord and tenant work and legal research and advice. The candidate, who ideally will have some knowledge of local government as a client, will need to demonstrate an excellent knowledge and experience of commercial property work, good communication and I.T skills, an ability to work as part of a team and the ability to prioritise and work confidently and flexibly under pressure to deliver a high quality service to clients. The role will require the candidate to act in a supervisory and supportive capacity to colleagues and in the absence of the Principal Lawyer to undertake certain management responsibilities. The Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) is seeking to recruit the Audit and Policy Officer for the Board on a permanent contract, based in Lincoln, and working with partners and organisations across the whole of Lincolnshire. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to be a key member of the LSCB team, and to work with partners to deliver the business plan through audit, policy development and local communications. About Us: The LSCB is a multi-agency board made up of representatives from the Local Authority, Police, Health Service, National Probation Service, Voluntary Sector and others. Our vision is that; children and young people in Lincolnshire are effectively safeguarded, properly supported and their lives improved by all agencies working together. About the Role: In this role you will develop, maintain and track the audit plan for the LSCB, leading on multi-agency audits and service evaluations in order to help improve outcomes for Lincolnshire children and young people. The Audit and Policy Officer takes the lead for multi-agency policy and procedure review and development in line with research, statutory guidance and local and national reviews and findings. You will also work across the partnership on multi-agency campaigns and the communications plan for the Board, as agreed by partners.
